There
are four cottages available for holiday lets throughout the year.
Purpose built chalets, they are set a stone's throw up from the
little road that winds its way along the north shore of Loch Teacuis
to end up at Rahoy Lodge.
The four cottages are identical in layout and well equiped with
electric cooker, fridge and freezer, drying facilities and shower
room. From the sitting room, with its cosy open fire, glazed doors
open onto a small terrace, overlooking the loch and furnished with
a picnic table.
The
cottages sleep four people in two bedrooms, one double bedded
and one twin bedded with a cot and highchair available if needed.
Duvets and bed linen are supplied.
Mobile phone coverage on Morvern is patchy, but there is a pay
phone on the estate. Laundry facilities are available if required.
The water is supplied form a spring way up in the hills and is exceptionally
pure.
Lochaline Village, nine miles away, has the nearest Shop and Post
Office. It has a well stocked village store which is open every
day. You can e-mail your requirements to Lesley@shop57.freeserve.co.uk.
Top up your fuel tank before you get to the ferry as the only petrol
and diesel nearby is at Lochaline.Coal and for your open fire can
be purchased from the estate or the Lochaline Shop.
